Why I’m all Done with Google Chrome for Now

google gears I’m all done with Google Chrome. I want to think that the browser is so amazing, and I’ve used it fairly steadily for a while, but I’m frustrated as all get-out that GOOGLE gears doesn’t work with GOOGLE chrome. How silly is that? Oh, tres silly, my friends.

Google Gears allows you to do several things, include work in your browser while it’s offline. It’s a great application to have installed, if you don’t have it already.

But here’s the kicker:

It doesn't work on Google Chrome or Safari, at least on a Mac

Read the fine print. Yep.

So, I’m back to Firefox, in the “in case you cared what browser Chris Brogan uses” department news.
